With my move to the ATL right around the corner I've been looking into getting some unique furniture for my new apt happened to come across this piece by designer Jie-Jyun Lyu.

This tray is just want I need for my fruits, vegetables, and other greenery 

Not sure if these are real items or just ideas either way I definitely want them in my new pad, but then again people then would think my apt is "the spot".

When it comes to fashion and HipHop Taz Arnold is the man right now.  Taz Arnold aka TISA is a member of "experimental HipHop" group Sa-Ra, once signed to Ye's G.O.O.D. Music imprint.  Known for his infamous "man tights" while in Paris with Kanye and the rest of his entourage, Taz Arnold is alot more than that.  He is a trendsetter and producer extraordinaire, who is currently continuing his collaboration efforts with world renown fashion house MCM .  Here is a video for his line of sneakers coming out as part of his TISA footwear campaign along with the video his latest single Southside Blood Cuz'n ft. Waken Baken Tour

This past Friday (10/29/10) the homie Duk & I hit the Wiz Khalifa Waken Baken Tour at the Dallas House of Blues.  The show was for the most part was cool but Wiz's set was extremely short, this is the 2nd time I've been to a Wiz Khalifa show. I enjoyed the fact that I had the chance to see Yelawolf, who proved why Raekwon gave his approval.  Yelawolf proves he doesn't have to sound like Em or like a "white version of" whoever to gain attention. Seeing the big homie Killa Kyleon get on stage and rep for the H was a good look as well as bringing Dorrough out, although cats in Dallas hear the same songs all day on the radio. As far as footage of course I got some just give me a few days to get things in order and I got you.  Remember this is an unorthodox blog I'm always busy so my thoughts are everywhere, but when the product is delivered believe it to be right.

G.O.O.D. Music: Dark Fantasy & All Of The Lights

Just when I thought I was on it with these G.O.O.D. Music tracks I recently came across this track Dark Fantasy, this happens to the opening track to the RUNAWAY movie.  Also All Of The Lights, originally titled Ghetto University ft. Drake, is the track you hear briefly during the firework showcase scene.  I can't wait for the complete track which is schduled to have 11 total artists on it and the beat has a majestic sound to it.....Nov 22nd My Beautiful Twisted Fantasy is going to be a classic.

G.O.O.D. Music Fridays: The Joy

This cover has to be my favorite of Ye's G.O.O.D. Music Fridays so far 2 words....Pam Grier. Remember when I first found that PlayBoy magazine with her in it and I was in love. Ms. Foxy Brown, my Sheba Baby lol.

Released yesterday, but hey it was worth the wait.  Having the legendary Pete Rock on the track was genius because this Curtis Mayfield sample was utilized so well took me back to that 90's soulful Hip-Hop.  I have been working with my friend up and coming producer Duk Johnson on making beats, resulting in my respect for the construction of music has grown dramatically, but back to the matter at hand.  Jay-Z of course ,whether or not you like the man, told you a story you could close your eyes and see.  As for Charlie Wilson & Kid Cudi  do what they do best and brings life to a track.    

Nicki Minaj- Right Through Me

What's there to say about Nicki Minaj that hasnt been said? She's talented.  Before the Lil Wanye co-sign & the industry all wanting a piece of her I came across her on the popular SMACK dvds & was hooked not only did she look like an BlackMen Magazine model she spit like a true New York rapper, and just went in.  Love her or hate her Nicki is a beast, or like she says a "M*therf**kin' Monster".  Here is the video for one of her current singles- Right Through Me and the visuals go so well with the song....

Mos Def, Lupe, and Big Sean, next is Yeezy's "comeback" track SEE ME NOW ft. Beyonce and "Uncle" Charlie Wilson, the ever popular RUNAWAY ft. Pusha T which actually isn't part of the G.O.O.D. Music Fridays, and finally for now LOST IN THE WORLD ft. Bon Iver the leaked track that almost ended G.O.O.D. Music Fridays.

Good A** Job: Runaway

Kanye has done it again!!  When first hitting the scene as an artist with The College Dropout to releasing the experimental 808s & Heartbreaks, Kanye West is a pop icon.  A student of music, fashion, and art Kanye now steps up to the plate as director for his first feature RUNAWAY.  RUNAWAY depicts the story of a fallen phoenix, yes a bird, played by the sexy Selita Ebanks who Griffin (Kanye West) takes in as his girlfriend.  Throughout their story you witness cultism, discrimination, and beastiality (you'll understand after watching)  there's alot that can be said about this piece after viewing and really doing an analysis, but I'm going to let the visuals speak for themselves.



 Not only did Kanye take over Viacom (MTV,BET, VH1) he had the Twitter world going crazy with the #askkanye trending topic(over 18,000 tweets). Not only did Kanye change the game with the premiere he brought millions of fans from different cultures and backgrounds together through their discussions of the film. Posted below is the post interview with MTV's own Sway. Believe it or not Hype Williams is only a writer for RUNAWAY, so Yeezy good ass job!

Like We Always Do At This Time...G.O.O.D. Music Fridays...So Far

Whether or not you like Kanye West as a person, although alot who don't like him don't know the brother, you have to admit that he is a musical genius. He is an all around artist with involvement in the worlds of fashion, art, film, business and of course music.  Recently Kanye has been on a nice run, not only with the signings of the "Mighty" Mos Def, one half of the "Brothers Thornton"/Clipse member Pusha T and ATL newcomer/Konvict Music affiliate Cyhi Da Prynce but also with the premiere of G.O.O.D. Music Fridays.
G.O.O.D. Music Fridays, for those not up on game, is where Kanye every week releases a possible track off of his new album that has finally received a title and release date. (My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Nov. 22nd, 2010)


Now after hearing all the tracks released so far & not blogging them I felt since I'm back on my blog sh*t why not drop something for all my music lovers. Everyone from Bon Iver, Swizz Beats, Jay-Z, the baddest in the game: beautiful Nicki Minaj and even more beautiful Keri Hilson, the legendary "Bobby Digital" RZA and the O.G. Dallas!!, You are now FINALLY FAMOUS!!!

Couple weeks back, September 25^th to be exact, I attended a BIG SEAN concert at TREES in downtown Dallas and took my homie Duk Johnson from TrackMeat Prods., I put people on to new music all the time, and have to admit I was truly….IMPRESSED.  Not only did Big Sean bring one of my favorite independent artists Mickey Factz (GFC/BlackApple) with him, he also put on an amazing show so good I forget how bummed out about leaving my girl “Sheba” at home.  After the show Big Sean stayed and, as promised at the meet & greet, signed every copy of FINALLY FAMOUS Vol.3 he had to hand out.  When I met Big Sean it reminded me of the 1^st time I met the homie Wiz Khalifa, he is a humble and REAL cat and I can respect that. "Finally Famous Over Everything"

The show was presented by SCORE MORE and Local Dallas clothing line MATRIMONEY.  A brilliant group by the name of FREESOL rocked the show along with Matrimony affiliated artist Androppolis.  Much respect to Will from Martimoney for sending me this video & to PUTTINGPEOPLEONGAME.COM for doing what they do best…”putting you lames in the fast lane” yea just made up think it fits so slide me my credit, thank you. 

Big Sean said it best, "When Your Legendary, Everything Is Quotable" Here he is immortalized in a fresh Matrimoney 'fit.

Do to some technology issues I wasn't able to do the gig at the Dallas Convention Center for the PV/Grambling Cotton Bowl afterparty, not at all regretting my attendance that evening.
