Time For A Change..."#Let'sGo"-@Iamdiddy

As the time to make my journey to Atlanta approaches I look back on a lot of things I've accomplished as well as failed at or better yet those things I didn't master like I know I could have and I realize I've grown and still need a lot more growing up to do.  I've seen many ideas that I've had as well as brands I've assisted at some point in time come and go, and realize that I didn't take care of my own business ventures but encourage, motivate, and guide others on the paths while straying from my own and the time has come for a change.  No more joining on with someone who doesn't have a "No sleep, straight grind" mentality and isn't open to change.  I say that to say this I'm looking to build my personal Nathan Kingston Adams, Esq. brand as well as all my planned business ventures.  Helping others reach their goals in life is still heavy on my heart but I no longer can do so without doing so for myself.  With my experience in marketing, promotion, and design I plan on going for MY goals in life and making a name for myself and hopefully begin the formation of my legacy.  By the grace of God and faith all is possible and I 'm thankful for those who have entered myself with unselfish hearts.

Like We Always Do At This Times

Another blessed week so how else better to start off a blessed/productive weekend than with another G.O.O.D. Friday release. Kanye is back on schedule and this time he has Chain Heavy ft. Talib Kweli and Consequence with the legendary Q-Tip on the boards.  As the big homies over at RapRadar report this is a bonus track, and hopefully not just an Itunes bonus, on his Nov.22nd release My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Quote of the Day 11/05/10 *Must Read*

In life we have to earn everything we gain in some form or fashion.  Nothing is guaranteed nor is it promised so if we really want to leave a legacy full of accomplishments we must capitalize on every opportunity we come across and work hard to reach our goals.  While going for our goals we must remember to do so with the utmost respect and dignity.

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." Mark Twain

Font is over sized for a reason, this was a needed post not only for myself but I hope everyone out there going for "the top" of whatever industry you choose to enter reads and not only understands this message but takes it to heart.

Quote of the Day 11/04/10

Today's quote comes from a Harlem hustler and entertainment mogul, & one who I follow in life when it comes to business/entertainment....

“Don’t be afraid to close your eyes and dream, but then open your eyes and see.” - Sean "Diddy" Combs

Be sure to check out his blog titled no other than Diddyblog.com of course, for inspirational quotes, videos, etc. & help spread love, "Hate is for Suckas"

Not too shabby for my 50th post by the way

"Gang's All Here"

Now I presented a snippet of this track earlier, but the complete track has been released & I'm excited to let you listen to it.  All Of The Lights Feat. John Legend, The-Dream, Ryan Leslie, Alicia Keys, Fergie, KiD CuDi, Rihanna, Elton John, Tony Williams, Charlie Wilson & Elly Jackson, yes ALL of them.  Now I'm excited to see Sir Elton John, Uncle Charlie Wilson, & Cudi on the same track although I thought everyone would have more involvement the track is still dope nonetheless so enjoy people.  Also have a few Kid Cudi tracks, so roll one and float on.

Note: This is the unauthorized release of All Of the Lights so who knows we might get a new version when Kanye releases My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Nov. 22nd & be on the lookout for Cudi's Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager  Nov. 9th

"Married To The Game"

Been meaning to post this, but no excuse a brother been busy; told you this isn't your "regular" blog.

Got an email earlier from the homie Will at Matrimoney Clothing stating that the new Fall 2010 collection was available and to be honest I was impressed not only by the clothing but also by the photo shoot.  Now for those who don't know I've been designing since I was 12 yrs. old so when I see a clothing line that produces only tees I'm the biggest critic because I hate to see brands come by make money and fold.  I take fashion more serious than my music so seeing a brand ran with no passion, that's when you see me get "aggy".  Now as far as Matrimoney these brothers hold it down, not only do they do clothing beyond just tees they also get involved with the music industry by bringing and hosting, along with ScoreMore Shows, up and coming artists for example Big Sean, the latest artist brought out to Dallas.  Whether or not you like the brand or their owners, who when I've came across them both were nothing but pleasant, you have to admit that they're on their way to being one of the top brands in the south and beyond; so hate on haters, neither Matrimoney nor myself are stopping any time soon. Be sure to check out the detail work on these pieces & by the way the only brother in the back of the pictures happens to be co-owner Will Bolt along with his partner Geoff Garber.

Of course since I've been designing since I was 12 yrs. old the clothing line is in the works, been in the works for years now.  Once I get settled after my "British Invasion" on the ATL you'll definitely witness my work, & I do it all from tees to REAL cut & sew and beyond.  Who knows, you might see a Matrimoney x ForeignStateOfMind (not the name of my line by the way) collab.  In the meantime, like what you see checkout www.matrimoneyclothing.com

Quote of the Day 11/02/10

I've really been into self-improvement lately with the my reading of both The 48 laws of Power by Robert Greene and The Brand Within by 1/4 of the brothers from FUBU "The Shark" Daymond John, which I'm currently still reading.  It's important for one to believe in themselves and be productive.  Here is a quote I came across recently that has gotten me off my ass....

"Putting off an easy thing makes it hard. Putting off a hard thing makes it impossible." George Lorimer
